Eksisjambi.com, Bandung – Kementrian Pertahananhan Republik Indonesia menyerahkan 700 unit ranops Maung MV3 buatan PT Pindad kepada TNI-Polri di Lanud Husein Sastranegara, Bandung, Sabtu (1/3).
Menhan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin menegaskan bahwa penyerahan 700 unit Maung MV3 ini menjadi momen penting bagi pemerintah, industri pertahanan, serta TNI-Polri. “Totalnya sekitar 4.000 unit, tetapi diserahkan bertahap sesuai kapasitas produksi,” ujar Menhan.
Ia juga menekankan kebangkitan industri pertahanan nasional dalam menjaga stabilitas negara. “Pemerintah konsisten memberikan dukungan operasional kepada TNI dan Polri,” tambahnya. Maung MV3 akan digunakan secara luas oleh personel di berbagai daerah.
Pengadaan ini didanai APBN yang berasal dari rakyat Indonesia, memastikan manfaat maksimal bagi pertahanan dan keamanan nasional. Dengan memilih produk dalam negeri, pemerintah juga mendukung ekonomi, membuka lapangan kerja, serta memperkuat ekosistem industri manufaktur dan pertahanan nasional.

The Ministry of Defence of Indonesia handed over 700 units of Maung MV3 operational vehicles, manufactured by PT Pindad, to the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) at Husein Sastranegara Airbase, Bandung, on Saturday (1/3).
The Minister of Defence emphasized that the delivery of 700 Maung MV3 units marks a significant milestone for the government, the defence industry, and TNI-Polri. “A total of approximately 4,000 units will be delivered, but the handover will take place in phases according to production capacity,” he stated.
He also underscored the revival of the national defence industry as a key factor in maintaining state stability. “The government remains consistent in providing operational support to TNI and Polri,” he added. The Maung MV3 will be widely deployed by personnel across various regions.
This procurement is funded through the state budget, sourced from the Indonesian people, ensuring maximum benefits for national defence and security. By prioritizing domestic products, the government also strengthens the economy, creates jobs, and reinforces the national manufacturing and defence industry ecosystem.(*)
